Architecturally remarkable holiday home at a forest lake!

A really unique holiday home awaits the guests who have booked this holiday accomodation with three floors, located right in the middle of the forest at a lake. The living space is about 110 square meters and the holiday home has enough room for up to six persons.

The furnishing is held in a rustic style, however you will have all modern comforts in the holiday home.

Dals Långed is located about 20 kilometers away from Bengtsfors and 30 kilometers away from Åmål. The canal named Dalslands Kanal runs through Dals Långed, where you will find a lot of guest harbors.

The Dalsland region is often called „Small Format Sweden“, because there exist many lakes, mountain plateaus and plain country. The largest extension of the landscape is about 100 kilometers from the north to the south and about 60 kilometers from the west to the east.

Infos about the region Dalsland

Dalsland is a relatively small province whose extent from the north to south measures 99 km and from east to west 59 km. It is located in western Sweden, with only one place that might be described as a city: Åmal, even though the population doesn't quite match up to the required 10 000 people that the Swedish Board of Statistics (SCB) calls for.
It is believed that Dalsland belonged to Norway until about the year 1000 AD, but this is not sure. However, the region is popular among our neighbors in the west!
Despite its size, the landscape is sometimes referred to as a "Sweden in miniature", then it has a highly variable nature. The province's largest lake is Lake Vänern. The Dalslands channel is a channel that allows boat traffic between Lake Vänern and parts of the lake system in Dalslands interior and southwestern of Värmland. The channel crosses the famous aqueduct in Håverud and is in the summer (season June-August) a much visited tourist destination, both for sailing boats, motor boats and canoes.
