Excellt fishing possibilites in area suited for families

This is a nice two room apartment on the top floor of an appartment building equipped with more or less all accommaditives you need for a relaxing holiday. The apartment consits of two bunk beds, with the lower parts wider as standard and can fit two persons. There's a tv and you also have access to the internet.
Åkullsjön is a small village, scattered around the lake. This is an area with a lot of forest, fresh air and waters. A very nice fishing lake is located about 1.5 km from your accommodation, where you'll find arctic char, trout, rainbow trout and planted fishes. Pike and perch can be found in the lake "Byasjön". A smaller beach, from where you can enjoy the lovely evening sun, is located 6 km from the apartment.

Illumintated cross country ski rails begin in the village. This is a great place for all of you who enjoy fishing, mushroom and berries- everything that nature offers.
The delicate cheese "Västerbottenost" is made in Burträsk about 30 Km from here.
The landlords keep sheeps, cats and have a fishing pound on the property- this will the kid's enjoy for sure. The lake "Rickelån" is approx. 10 km away. This a famous spot for salmon fishing which no fan of fishing should miss out on. During the winter time there is a nice place for down hill skiing just 10 km away.

    Västerbotten

    Västerbotten, in Sweden well known for its cheese, is a historical province in the north of Sweden, bordering to Norrbotten, Ångermanland, Lappland and the Baltic Sea.
    The biggest city of this region is Umeå, also called "the city of the birch trees". Interesting sights of this city are the sculpture park "Umedalen" as well as the open-air museum "Gammlia" and the interesting red town council building.
    Västerbotten is the home of an incredibly high amount of museums. Bicycle museum, cheese museum, power plant museum or mining museum: There is a museum for every interest!
    But not only those interested in culture will be delighted by Västerbotten and its offers. Fans of nature will find excellent fishing spots, hiking tracks or relaxing opportunities in this landscape characterized by river valleys, canyons, forests and marsh lands. Well known examples are the waterfalls "Mårseleforsen" for their richness in salmons and graylings, or the hiking track "Vildmarksled" which on its 20 km of length leads you through breathtaking canyon landscapes. Those who rather would like to watch Västerbotten from the birds' view can use the longest cable car in Sweden, "Linbanan Norsjön", located in Västerbotten, between Boliden and Kristineberg.
