A really "exceptionally" beautiful accomodation in Halland

Something really special is this accomodation in the form of a holiday apartment on two floors and with a miles long view of the surrounding fields and meadows and the so-called Hallandsåsen, a somewhat hilly area of Halland.
You will live here at a historico-cultural farmstead with a living space of 110 square meters. It consists of a living area with comfortable living-room suite and open fire. In addition you will have a kitchen, two bedrooms as well as shower and WC. The outside seating area has a southern aspect and is a perfect place to rest.
Around this farmstead you will experience a diverse animal life, and lambs are grazing right next here. At the property you will also find a lovely country inn and a café. Here you can have your meals in summer (14.00 - 22.00). Other opening hours are possible at request.
In 1648 this farmstead belonged to Danmark. The first registered owner was Mattias Börjesson. Because of this fact the farmstead got this name. Up to 1980 the farmstead was run by members of this family.

    Halland

    You will find Halland at the coast of Kattegat with Halmstad as county seat. Halland has a dramatic history of war between Sweden and Denmark and has historically changed nationality several times. This dark period was marked by great destruction and poverty. After the Peace of Roskilde in 1658 Halland became swedish and the peace lead the region to start flourishing again.
    Halland's early history was marked by the Vikings and there are many relics left to behold such as graves, grave liners and stone cists. Halland is known for its beautiful scenery, with coastal, sandy beaches, forests and lakes. Even the famous salmon and sea trout rivers Viskan, Ätran, Nissan and Lagan flow through the rolling landscape of Halland.
    There are many activities to engage in in the province. Visit Roxette's hometown of Halmstad, one of the many famous golf courses, open-air events in cities and on beaches, cheap shopping at GeKås in Ullared and lots of swimming and fishing opportunities.
