The golf club of Rydö is located only 200 meters away from the manor house and offers a fantastic 18-holes facility, while restling among the nature of Halland. If the one or other of your tourist party should prefer riding, so this will present no problem, because the riding stable is only 50 meters away from your domicile. And in the evening, if you get hungry or at least a little hungry, you can all together use the newly renovated restaurant, dating from the 18. century, and only a few meters away, to finish this day successfully.

    Halland

    You will find Halland at the coast of Kattegat with Halmstad as county seat. Halland has a dramatic history of war between Sweden and Denmark and has historically changed nationality several times. This dark period was marked by great destruction and poverty. After the Peace of Roskilde in 1658 Halland became swedish and the peace lead the region to start flourishing again.
    Halland's early history was marked by the Vikings and there are many relics left to behold such as graves, grave liners and stone cists. Halland is known for its beautiful scenery, with coastal, sandy beaches, forests and lakes. Even the famous salmon and sea trout rivers Viskan, Ätran, Nissan and Lagan flow through the rolling landscape of Halland.
    There are many activities to engage in in the province. Visit Roxette's hometown of Halmstad, one of the many famous golf courses, open-air events in cities and on beaches, cheap shopping at GeKås in Ullared and lots of swimming and fishing opportunities.
