"Back to nature?"

Here you can spend your holidays in a holiday hut with simple standard in the beautiful surrounding of Ångermanälven, which is well-known for its salmon . Fishing under the Höga-Kusten-Bron (High Coastal Bridge) becomes an experience and a guaranteed fishing success!
Or you can just try it in the running water opposite. Hiking opportunities in the mountains right next to your house are available. A bathing lake and a sauna are 5 kilometers away. Horse/pony riding can be organized and the nearest ski run is about 25 kilometers away.
The hut is located at an old farm together with the residential building of the landlord and consists of a kitchen in old Swedish style with mains water supply and an old cast-iron stove, which can be used both for cooking and for warming up. The needed firewood will be supplied by the landlord. The living room offers a view of the Norrland mountains and a small bedroom completes all this. An old oven for making the bread is also available and can, of course, be used in order to make your own bread.
The towns of Sundsvall (60 km away) or Kramfors (20 km away) offer a pleasant change with service and shops.
If you want to relax from everyday stress and spend your holidays really cosy like in earlier times, then this is just the right place for you!

    Ĺngermanland

    Ĺngermanland is a province located relatively up north on the Baltic coast. The largest city is called Örnsköldsvik and the county seat is in the town of Härnösand. The region is characterized by creeks that cut deep into the country, deep forests and many islands in the archipelago.
    Ĺngermanland's characteristic is UNESCO's World Heritage “High Coast” (Höga Kusten) in Kramfors. Here, the uplift after the last ice age created a unique coastal landscape. South of Örnsköldsvik you will find Skuleskogen National Park and its mountain Skuleberget. You can go up on the mountain by cable car and enjoy the view of the High Coast.
    Härnösand is known for its picturesque wooden houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. The most famous buildings are the cathedral, the residence building and the city hall. Even in the open-air museum Murberget typically wooden buildings are displayed. Historically significant buildings are also the military barracks and the courthouse in Sollefteĺ.
    From Köpmanholmen south of Örnskoldsvik you can go by boat to the islands Ulvön and Trysunda. These islands are famous for their picturesque fishing villages and small churches. From the coastal areas in Ĺngermanland one of the country's food specialties derives, fermented herring (Surströmming). This is herring that has been preserved by fermentation and has a very strong scent.
