In the heart of Hälsingland

and with a dreamy view of the fishing village "Skärså fiskeläge" you are welcome to this holiday home in a region of Sweden which becomes more and more popular.
The holiday home is part of a farm where you will also find the residential building of your landlord. It consists of two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen corner and, of course, a bathroom with shower and WC.
Garden furniture and grill will be found at the terrace and will attract you to have hopefully unforgettable and relaxed barbecue evenings with your dears.
Only a few meters away you will find the sea and a small landing stage where you can use a motorized boat in order to replace the usual fried sausages with fresh fish which you have just fished. The skerries on your doorstep are already waiting to be discovered and explored by you.
In case you were not so succesful in fishing, the famous fish restaurant "Albertina" is at any rate waiting to regale you.
Another excursion could have the zoo of Järvö as a destination where you can marvel at the indigenous animals like bear, elk or wolf.

    Hälsingland

    Hälsingland is located in southern Norrland in northern Sweden and is famous for its beautiful landscape with large farms, high mountains and beautiful valleys. The northern parts of the province is of distinctive wilderness character.
    Hälsingland's largest city is Hudiksvall and the most important watercourse is the river Ljusnan, coming from Härjedalen it runs through the entire province and ends at the town of Ljusne. Ljusnan is Sweden's ninth longest river and offers excellent fishing for grayling and trout.
    Hälsingland is known for its magnificent farms, known as ”Hälsingegĺrdar”. Two or three storeys high, they are built to display the wealth and independence, much ingenuity has been required to decorate their interiors, combining noble fashion with traditional materials and techniques.
    It is worth mentioning that Princess Madeleine of Sweden is both Hälsinglands and Gästriklands duchess.
