To experience the expanses of Hälsingland at close quarters

In the middle of a very beautiful and open scenery you will find this spacious holiday home, which they call here "Hälsingegård", at a hill with a miles long view of the surrounding.
With a living space of about 200 square meters the holiday home is well-suited for several families, who are good friends, to spend their holidays together here.
Downstairs you will find a large country kitchen with enough room for 7 up to 14 persons, a bathroom, a studio/living room with open fire as well as three bedrooms. Upstairs there are two other bedrooms and a small sixth room with a place to sleep.
The house has been built in a traditional way together with the stable. A neighboring farm is only about 50 m away from here.
Outside the "Hälsingegård" is surrounded by a large property with terrace, garden furniture, grill and large lawns for playing and fun.
Hälsingland is a region with many sights and destinations for excursions. You simply must have experienced nature here and it is the best way to discover/explore it by foot.
Not far from Njutånger you will find the open sea and the coast of Hälsingland, inviting in summer to swimming and fishing.

    Hälsingland

    Hälsingland is located in southern Norrland in northern Sweden and is famous for its beautiful landscape with large farms, high mountains and beautiful valleys. The northern parts of the province is of distinctive wilderness character.
    Hälsingland's largest city is Hudiksvall and the most important watercourse is the river Ljusnan, coming from Härjedalen it runs through the entire province and ends at the town of Ljusne. Ljusnan is Sweden's ninth longest river and offers excellent fishing for grayling and trout.
    Hälsingland is known for its magnificent farms, known as ”Hälsingegĺrdar”. Two or three storeys high, they are built to display the wealth and independence, much ingenuity has been required to decorate their interiors, combining noble fashion with traditional materials and techniques.
    It is worth mentioning that Princess Madeleine of Sweden is both Hälsinglands and Gästriklands duchess.
