Family holidays in Halland

This red and white holiday home in the typical Swedish style awaits you in the beautiful Halland region in South Sweden, to be more exactly nearby the locality of Unnaryd.
The living space of about 90 square meters is distributed over two floors. Downstairs you will find a living room with open fire and TV, the spacious kitchen with dining place as well as a bedroom with convertible sofa and the bathroom with shower, WC, washing machine and drier.
Upstairs there is another living room with TV and two bedrooms. The offer will be completed by a terrace, grill, bicycles as well as a swing for the children.
Solhem has been completely renovated in 2009 and is well suited for families with children.
Färda, the home of this house, is located about 50 kilometers north-east of the capital of this region, Halmstad. The forest you will find right next to this domicile so that you will have the opportunity to go for really relaxing walks, cycle tours or you can also go to the nearest lake in order to dive in the worms and to see what happens.

    Halland

    You will find Halland at the coast of Kattegat with Halmstad as county seat. Halland has a dramatic history of war between Sweden and Denmark and has historically changed nationality several times. This dark period was marked by great destruction and poverty. After the Peace of Roskilde in 1658 Halland became swedish and the peace lead the region to start flourishing again.
    Halland's early history was marked by the Vikings and there are many relics left to behold such as graves, grave liners and stone cists. Halland is known for its beautiful scenery, with coastal, sandy beaches, forests and lakes. Even the famous salmon and sea trout rivers Viskan, Ätran, Nissan and Lagan flow through the rolling landscape of Halland.
    There are many activities to engage in in the province. Visit Roxette's hometown of Halmstad, one of the many famous golf courses, open-air events in cities and on beaches, cheap shopping at GeKås in Ullared and lots of swimming and fishing opportunities.
