At a lake in the expanses of Dalarna

you will find this beautiful timbered holiday home in Kopparhyttan in Middle Sweden.
Inside there are three bedrooms with four beds as well as a living room with sofa bed. Here you will also find a TV. The accomodation will be completed by a kitchen corner as well as a bathroom with shower and WC.
Outside there is a covered terrace with garden furniture and grill for cosy barbecue evenings.
But also the location of the house is impressive. You will live here not more than 50 meters away from the lake Rämen with fantastic opportunities for fishing for pike, perch and noble fish like brown trout and whitefish. Down by the water you will also find a bathing jetty and a rowing boat which you can use. In the lake you will have access to an own bathing island.
Only 30 kilometers away from here you will find "Björbo" at the river Västerdalälven. There are a lot of fishing routes with running waters where you can get out your fly rod in order to fish also for noble fish like trout and grayling.
But, of course, you can not only go fishing here, in the rest of Dalarna you can also experience a lot of other things. The landscapa around the lake Siljan (80 km away) is always worth a visit. Or you can go to the copper mine of "Falu Koppargruva" (65 km away) or even to the famous leather workshops in Malung (115 km away).
It may also happen that you will have such a sense of well-being here in nature and at the lake, that you simply will not leave this place and better pass away the time with hiking, cycling or berry-picking and mushroom-picking.

    Dalarna

    Dalarna in central Sweden, located northwest of Stockholm, has a long border towards Norway. The name of the province (Eng: “the valleys”) originates in the province's natural character. Miles of forests, mountains, lakes and villages around Lake Siljan, with Leksand, Mora and Orsa as major cities. Siljan region's tourism center is located in Dalarna.
    But it is not only the wonderful natural landscape that has made Dalarna well known. The picturesque villages with red houses, painted in "Falu Red Paint" and the province's rich folk culture have named Dalarna "The most Swedish province in Sweden." In the resort Nusnäs at Siljan lake the famous "Dala horses" are manufactured, which have become popular symbols in whole Sweden.
    Historically seen, Dalarna had great significance. The population of Dalarna has always been self-minded and often revolted and rebelled against the various kings. King Gustav Vasa fled here from captivity in Denmark and managed to persuade a Dalarna rebellion against Denmark after having traveled from his pursuers on skis from Sälen to Mora. The Danes were defeated and Gustav Vasa became king of Sweden. Even today, a major ski competition takes place on this site called "Vasaloppet".
    In addition, in the landscape around Lake Siljan Dalarna offers large areas with wilderness character. There are mountains, large forests, rivers and lakes and large marshes. Here you can find solitude, fishing, go hiking or try river rafting.
