„Stensön 3" is one of 8 cosy self catering holiday cottages with a size of 52 square meters, located in a small and familiar holiday village at the coast of Hälsingland. The idyllically holiday village is only about 250 meters away from the sea, where you will have access to a boat with outboard motor. There is a little swimming pool included in this complex, which is very popular with little guests. A noble fish pond invites the guests of the holiday village, to test good fortune in fishing. Because of the many little lakes around the holiday cottage and because of the opportunity of troll fishing in the sea, people being fond of fishing, really get their money´s worth here. And those people, looking for the company of other holiday guests in mild summer evenings, can certainly get in touch with others while having coffee and ice-cream at the terrace of the service building. Here you can also find the washing machine, belonging to the holiday cottages. You will also have access to a sauna, which you share with the other guests.To experience city life of northern Sweden, it is best to visit Hudiksvall, about 20 kilometers away, where you can find banks, shops and restaurants.

    Hälsingland

    Hälsingland is located in southern Norrland in northern Sweden and is famous for its beautiful landscape with large farms, high mountains and beautiful valleys. The northern parts of the province is of distinctive wilderness character.
    Hälsingland's largest city is Hudiksvall and the most important watercourse is the river Ljusnan, coming from Härjedalen it runs through the entire province and ends at the town of Ljusne. Ljusnan is Sweden's ninth longest river and offers excellent fishing for grayling and trout.
    Hälsingland is known for its magnificent farms, known as ”Hälsingegĺrdar”. Two or three storeys high, they are built to display the wealth and independence, much ingenuity has been required to decorate their interiors, combining noble fashion with traditional materials and techniques.
    It is worth mentioning that Princess Madeleine of Sweden is both Hälsinglands and Gästriklands duchess.
