Holiday home with a view of the canal named Göta kanal

This simple holiday home consists of an entrance area, a bedroom with three beds, a living area with convertible sofa as well as kitchen corner, equipped with cooker, fridge, freezer compartment etc.. The accomodation will be completed by a shower and toilet. Canoes can be rented in the locality of Norsholm, not far from here, and they are excellently suited to go exploring the watercourses of the Göta kanal.
All this is placed at a garden property in the countryside and as mentioned before with a view of the certainly best known canal of Sweden.
Destinations for any excursions are, for example, the zoo of "Kolmården" which is about 40 kilometers away from the holiday home. The towns of Linköping and Söderköping are about 20 kilometers away. Norsholm is only 2 kilometers away and here you will find restaurants, crazy golf, a filling station and even a guest harbour. In summer you can also visit one of the open-air theater performances.
Norrköping belongs to the big cities of Sweden and it can be reached by bus or from the shuttle train station which is 3 kilometers away. But this is only a recommendation for those people who once want to leave country life.

    Västergötland

    In western Sweden, we find Västergötland, which is not to be confused with the Västra Götaland Län (county), since their borders differ. Västergötland is home to the famous plains of Västergötland, which consists of several separate plains. This region is very fertile and located slightly north of the province's geographical center. The northern part of the province has relatively few lakes, but the lake Hornborgasjön famous for its famous “crane dance” (mating of the birds) can be found here.
    If we have a look further south, we find numerous lakes including Mjörn, Anten, Ĺsunden,Lyngen and Fegen. Try your luck at fishing!
    Not to be overlooked is that also Vänern is located here, Sweden's largest lake covering an area of 5648 sq. km and has a volume of 153 km3. It lies 44 meters above sea level and is Europe's third largest. Among the world's largest lakes it’s placed on the 29th place.
    Västergötland is one of the oldest cultural areas. The city of Gothenburg is located partly in Västergötland, it borders to Bohuslän at Hisingen in Gothenburg. With its around 550,000 inhabitants its Sweden's second largest city and offers a variety of activities, including Liseberg amusement park.
