Welcome to the wilderness house "Bockudden" at the beach "Västra Silens strand" in beautiful Värmland.

The modern holiday home has a dining place with large panoramic windows towards the lake, which is not far from here. A terrace with southern aspect, a living area with open fire, kitchen, shower/toilet, sauna as well as three bedrooms make this offer for holidays here complete.
The house is located about 250 m west of the the base camp "Risviken" and Nordmarkens canoe hire, but nevertheless it is really peaceful and secluded here.
According to the words of the landlord this holiday home is excellently suited in summer for families with children and with the main emphasis at beach holidays and boat and canoe tours at the lake "Västra Silen" and other clear lakes in the surrounding.
For people, who like fishing, this accomodation is particularly suited in spring and in autumn,when fishes bite best.

  • 3 bedrooms (1.with single beds (double bed), 2. with bunk bed, 3. with bunk bed), living area with convertible sofa for 1 person
  • Day of arrival and departure will be Saturday
  • Electricity will be charged with 1,50 SEK/kwh (payable at the day of departure directly to the landlord) and will be added extra.
  • When booking for a period of two weeks the accomodation costs 1625 EUR/2-weeks(low) and 1845 EUR/2-weeks(peek)
  • Moose safari about 2 hours by minibus along with a photographer / hunter to see moose and information on how they live, etc.is included free in the rent if booking atleast one week.

    Värmland

    Värmland is located in the west of central Sweden, along the north shore of lake Vänern as well as along the Scandinavian Mountains in the west and the north. It has borders towards Norway in the west, Dalarna in the north, Västermanland and Närke in the east as well as Dalsland and lake Vänern in the south.
    Värmland is well known for its natural diversity. As there are the mountains in the west and the north, here called "Kölen", in the south we will find a more shallow, but hilly landscape. In gerenal, Värmland is rich in forests, rivers and lakes. The lakes and rivers make Värmland a paradise for fishing and water sports, especially lake Vänern and the river Klarälven. This river is an excellent area for fishing and river rafting in the upper parts, where it is wilder, whereas in the lower river you find excellent conditions for silent and romantic raft tours. The mountains in the north and especially in the west are very popular skiing and winter sport areas among Scandinavians.
    But not only the fan of nature and sports will find a vast offer to choose from in Värmland. Even those interested in culture will find activities like a lot of museums, archaeological remains like runestones, or a livley nightlife and shopping in cities like Karlstad. You will easily feel that Norway is close to Värmland und this short distance allows spontaneous short trips to Swedens neighbour country.
