In the wilderness of Sweden,

or to be more exactly, in the north of the Värmland region,you will find this cosy holiday home, located between water, forests and mountains.
The house is placed at a large natural property with an own access to the river Klarälven where you will also find an own place for bathing.
The holiday home has a living space of 80 square meters, distributed over two bedrooms, a bathroom with bathtub, a separate WC, a large living area as well as a well-equipped/furnished kitchen with dining area. The property around the house looks wild and natural, with a small "kitchen garden" and a terrace.
The surrounding really offers pure nature. For example, you can go on a hiking tour through the "Finn forest" (Finnskogen), go cycling along the Klarälvs path, try your luck in fishing in the river, in the lake "Höljessjön" or in one of the many other lakes, streams and rivers. The Klarälven is well-known for its good fish population concerning trout or grayling.
During other times of the year you can go hunting or cross-country skiing here. In Branäs (38 km away) or Sälen (68 km away) you will find excellent ski runs. Or you can go on a riding tour, make use of the snowmobile or why not taking the dog sledge?!

    Värmland

    Värmland is located in the west of central Sweden, along the north shore of lake Vänern as well as along the Scandinavian Mountains in the west and the north. It has borders towards Norway in the west, Dalarna in the north, Västermanland and Närke in the east as well as Dalsland and lake Vänern in the south.
    Värmland is well known for its natural diversity. As there are the mountains in the west and the north, here called "Kölen", in the south we will find a more shallow, but hilly landscape. In gerenal, Värmland is rich in forests, rivers and lakes. The lakes and rivers make Värmland a paradise for fishing and water sports, especially lake Vänern and the river Klarälven. This river is an excellent area for fishing and river rafting in the upper parts, where it is wilder, whereas in the lower river you find excellent conditions for silent and romantic raft tours. The mountains in the north and especially in the west are very popular skiing and winter sport areas among Scandinavians.
    But not only the fan of nature and sports will find a vast offer to choose from in Värmland. Even those interested in culture will find activities like a lot of museums, archaeological remains like runestones, or a livley nightlife and shopping in cities like Karlstad. You will easily feel that Norway is close to Värmland und this short distance allows spontaneous short trips to Swedens neighbour country.
