Holidays in Northern Sweden and only 100 meters away from the sea

In the beautiful Västerbotten region, about 10 kilometers outside the locality of Ånäset, you will find these two timber houses which were built togehter and which have a common living space of 50 square meters.
They consist of a kitchen, dining room, a niche for sleeping with double bed as well as shower and WC. The living room includes a fireplace and a sofa bed.
You will live here in a woodland area, about 100 meters away from the sea. The built up glazed veranda (24 m2) will give you a limited view of the sea into two directions. The terrace with garden furniture will be found in the angle of the two houses. All this will be completed by a hut as overnight accomodation with double bed or alternatively bunk bed which you can rent in addition when required. Your landlord also lives at the same property, about 20 meters away (an unoccupied hut lies between your and his house).
The nearest place for bathing which is also well-suited for small children is about 300 meters away from here. By the way, did you know that you don´t need a fishing license for fishing in the sea?!
If you want to go fishing for noble fish, you have to cover a distance of 15 kilometers. You will live here only quite a bit south of the polar circle and therefore don´t forget that the nights are bright here in summer. Because of this fact you should even not forget your beauty sleep during this time. Otherwise it could happen that you will return home and are more tired and exhausted then at your day of arrival here.

  • Niche for sleeping with double bed, dining area with sofa bed 80 cm, living area with sofa bed 160 cm. Floor mattresses are available on request for an extra charge
  • Day of arrival and departure: Saturday. It can only be rented on a week-by-week basis
  • Bed linen and towels can be ordered extra for 100 SEK/person
  • Guest hut with two single beds can be booked in addition for 110 EUR per week
  • The landlord takes a security deposit of 500 SEK (to be paid on arrival) which will be refunded before departure after inspection of the accomodation if no objections are raised
  • Bikes can be rented for 50 SEK per day
  • A canoe can be rented for 50 SEK per day. Life jackets are included
  • A rowing boat can be rented for 100 SEK per day. Life jackets are included

    Västerbotten

    Västerbotten, in Sweden well known for its cheese, is a historical province in the north of Sweden, bordering to Norrbotten, Ångermanland, Lappland and the Baltic Sea.
    The biggest city of this region is Umeå, also called "the city of the birch trees". Interesting sights of this city are the sculpture park "Umedalen" as well as the open-air museum "Gammlia" and the interesting red town council building.
    Västerbotten is the home of an incredibly high amount of museums. Bicycle museum, cheese museum, power plant museum or mining museum: There is a museum for every interest!
    But not only those interested in culture will be delighted by Västerbotten and its offers. Fans of nature will find excellent fishing spots, hiking tracks or relaxing opportunities in this landscape characterized by river valleys, canyons, forests and marsh lands. Well known examples are the waterfalls "Mårseleforsen" for their richness in salmons and graylings, or the hiking track "Vildmarksled" which on its 20 km of length leads you through breathtaking canyon landscapes. Those who rather would like to watch Västerbotten from the birds' view can use the longest cable car in Sweden, "Linbanan Norsjön", located in Västerbotten, between Boliden and Kristineberg.
