Fishing for salmon at the lake Unden between Vänern and Vättern

This accomodation consists of two holiday homes, which can be rented out together and which are about 175 meters away from the large lake Uden.
Both holiday homes consist of a living room with convertible sofa, two bedrooms, shower and WC as well as a kitchen and both of them have a living space of about 47 square meters. One of the holiday homes has a ramp and is adapted to the needs of disabled persons and in this house there is also a heater
Here you can spend the most beautiful time of the year in a lakeland area and at the edge of the national park "Tiveden". The national park offers a lot of hiking trails through the "primeval forest" and some territories are roaming about native wolves.
Basically the lake Unden offers the same variety of fishes as its "Big Brother", the lake Vänern with noble fishes like char, salmon, pike, perch or whitefish, which is also a noble fish. The anglers among you will be really put to the test here. The source lake with its up to 100 meters of depth, is considered as a particularly difficult terrain in order to land a larger amount of fishes. But as they say, man grows with his responsibility, and in case of a crisis there still exists the fishmonger in the nearest ICA supermarket to solve the problem.
Not far from here the localities of Laxå and Askersund are located. Askersund is well-known because of the typical red Swedish houses, cosy cafés and busy activities of tourists and sailing boats in summer.
Not far fromhere you will also find the island of "Borgmästareholmen", where the children can climb and rollick about in the open air.

    Närke

    Närke, which is the smallest province in Svealand and located in the interior of the country borders to Västergötland, Värmland, Västmanland, Södermanland and Östergötland.
    Almost the entire Närke belongs to the Örebro county whose county seat is also Örebro province's largest city.
    It is believed that the province was populated as early as after the last Ice Age. If you're interested in history you will here find many ancient monuments such as stone circles and even runstones.
    Vättern is Närkes largest lake, before Hjälmaren and Skagen. These lakes are not solely located in Närke, but also in neighbouring provinces.
    Well worth a visit is the beautiful city of Örebro, which is currently the sixth largest in the country with around 110,000 inhabitants. The population is increasing and the forecast says that it will be on place five in 2015 if it continues. Örebro is a popular university city and culturally interesting. Through the city flows the river Svartån and on one island the beautiful Örebro Castle is located.
