At Bankeryd, which is directly located at the largest lake of Sweden, the Vättern, you can use a holiday apartment, leading you to the lake after only some minutes walk.
The holiday apartment will be found about 7 km north of Jönköping. It is up-to-date furnished and located in the lower floor. You will have an open fire, a built-in lighting, a bedroom with an oversized window, not to forget, a kitchen, as well as a sauna.
Outside the holiday apartment you will find a large, covered veranda. From there you will directly reach a stream.
Good bus connections, but also a fantastic scenery with regard to cycle pathes will allow you to reach Jönköping after a short time. And there are a lot of sights, shopping arcades, pubs, museums, a swimming pool with wave machine etc.. In the harbour area you can find a lot of small restaurants.
Starting from your holiday place, we recommend such well-known tours, for exanple, to Gränna, a beautiful town directly at the Vättern, to Visingsö, to Hjo and Sträken, where you can actively canoe.
