Your holiday home "Matilda", which will be found outside of Färgelanda in Dalsland, is, as for the location, really convenient, because you will reach the largest lake of Sweden, the „Vänern“, after about 20 minutes eastwards by car and the „Skagerrak“ after about the same time westwards.
The holiday home is secluded, but at the same time close to shops and a lot of other lakes, like the "Eltenösjön".
After about three kilometers you will reach Färgelanda, where you find shops, bank and chemist´s shop.
If you have just left the house you will have good chances to see and perhaps even to observe elks and other animals.
In this area you will find forests with berries and mushrooms and, of course, lakes for fishing and swimming.
The small holiday home had been built - and that is an architectural and structural special feature - at the end of the year 1700, and completely renovated in the year 2007.
Downstairs there is the dining room, a library, kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs you will find a double room, a single room as well as a large living room with four bed niches and two extra beds. A sauna can be used in a separate building, where you will also find a living room and a balcony.
