Near Gärsnäs, between the localities of Komstad and Östra Vemmerlöv, about 10 km away from the Baltic Sea coast, you will find a holiday apartment, which is part of an older worker´s hostel. The holiday apartment is located between an open scenery and close to deep beech woods.
From this domicile you will have a very nice view of the plain country and pasture land. Your nearest neighbor lives about 200 meters away from your place.
You will be offered good fishing opportunities, above all in the lake named "Gyllebosjön", which is 1,5 km away. Here you will also have the opportunity, to put your fish, which you perhaps just have fished, on the grill. There are also good opportunities for swimming and hiking tours.
After about 9 km you will reach the beach in Knäbäckshusen and from that place it is not far to the national park in Stenhuvud.
People who like golf will have a newly laid out golf course (Stiby Golf) outside of Gärsnäs nearly within reach and also the "Tomelillas" golf course offers good opportunities for beginners. In that surrounding you will also find many restaurants, small shops and cafe´s. Simrishamn is located only about 10 minutes by car away from here and Ystad, which is a bit larger, you will reach after 30 minutes by car.
The holiday apartment was newly renovated in 2007 and has a modern and spacious kitchen, a garden area with garden furniture and grill. You will have two toilets, bathroom with shower and washing machine, a living room and two bedrooms.
