Right next to the small house you will find a large dam (60 m lenght and 20 m width), where you have good conditions, above all for fishing rainbow trouts , but also crayfish.
Not far from the dam you will have opportunities for swimming, and the nearest larger place to swim you will reach after about 6 km. There is both an opportunity to eat something and for people who like tennis, one tennis court is available.
You are here in an area with very convenient connections to interesting holiday activities in Småland. Day trips could be, for example, "The World of Astrid Lindgren" at Vimmerby, an elk safari at Eriksmåla (55 km away), the island of Öland with its extensive cultural and historical sights and beautiful beaches or last but not least a visit to the world-famous World of Glass and its locations at Orrefors, Kosta and Åfors.
If you want to become active, so you can do this in the direct surrounding of your holiday place. In the forests you will not only find tasty yellow chantarelles, but also cranberries and blueberries, typical for this area.
