Holidays at one of the most beautiful and scenically most interesting islands of Sweden, Öland. At Ytterby, about 8 kilometers away from the well-known seaside resort of Köpingsvik, a holiday home in a small holiday village is waiting for you, which is located in front of a private lake with footbridge and landing stage.
Here you will also find a playground for children with small playhouse, sandpit and slide.
Besides the opportunity of fishing right at the Baltic Sea, you also have the possibility to fish for noble fish in the nearer surrounding. You will pay an entry fee of 75 SEK and can fish up to three fishes free of charge, after that, however, you will have to pay 75 SEK for every further kilo.
At your landlord you can also rent bicycles, pedal boats and much more.
The seaside resort of Köpingsvik is located about 4 km away from the island town of Borgholm and has one of the most beautiful bathing beaches of the island, but also many hiking trails, typical for the Öland scenery. The beach is child-friendly and has shallow water.
Of course, the island offers a lot of sights, like the colossal castle ruins near Borgholm, the castle of Solliden and the holiday residence of the royal family, the refuge castle of Eketorp and the town of Borgholm itself.

- Bedclothes and towels have to be brought along.
- 2 bedrooms (1. with double bed, 2. with two bunk beds)
- Bikes can be rented for 30 SEK/day
- Pedal boats can be rented for 50 SEK/hour
- A wood-heated hot tub for bathing („utekar“ in Swedish) can be rented for 450 SEK/use
- Quad bikes can be rented for 150 SEK/30 minutes
- A bed for a baby and a child´s chair can be rented for 50 SEK/week
- A deposit of 500 SEK for the final cleaning has to be paid by the guest when arriving. An alternative would be to order the final cleaning at the landlord for 400 SEK
- Outside the peak season the holiday home can also be rented on a day-by-day basis (minimum: two days)
- Day of arrival and departure will be Sunday (peak saison)
