"Grönadal" is a spacious holiday home, which was built in 1884 and is located not far from the beautiful lake Mien in Småland.
The holiday home was carefully renovated in 1970 and offers nowadays all necessary conveniences for restful holidays in Sweden.
Consisting of 4 rooms, a dining area and kitchen, it offers enough room for 6 persons at 110 square meters.
This small idyll in the local authority district of Tingsryd is surrounded by 2 hectare ground. You will have a view over meadows and down to the river.
The landlord lives sometimes for a while in the neighboring house (60 m distance). During these times you will share with the landlord the jetty and barbecue area down by the river. Sometimes the landlord also uses the little shed next to the house.
Here down by the river( 60 m away from the holiday home) people who can swim can plunge into the foaming brine. Of course you can also canoe about 500 meters (one kilometer by bike) and reach a beautiful bathing beach. A bathing beach with a jetty and a raft is located 5 km down to the south. In the south-western part of the lake Mien you can also go fishing (fishing licence necessary).
The surrounding offers a lot of activities, like noble fish fishing at Ire (15 km away) or salmon fishing in the Mörrum (27 km away). You can also walk or cycle through the lovely scenery, go berry-picking or mushroom-picking in the forest. By the way, wildlife is common here.
Still one remark to the surrounding and local services. Shops, bank, library and pharmacy you will find in Ryd (10 km away). The Waterpalace (indoor pool) and horse carriage will be found in Tingsryd (27 km away), the nearest golf course is 25 km away.
Concerning the distances to some possible destinations for day trips:Växjö - 70 km, Copenhagen - 220 km, Karlshamn - 27 km, IKEA (Älmhult) - 50 km and Kalmar - 120 km.
