The holiday home "Blåklocka" is an old farmhouse, which is about 100 years old and very individually and cosy furnished. The holiday home is well-equipped and has a large cooking/dining/living area, where you can linger quite well.
The open fire radiates additional cosiness, when the evenings are cooler.
In all rooms you will find fly screens at the windows, preventing annoying occupants from penetrating.
"Blåklocka" is located at a farm which is run at present with cows, sheeps and chicken. The small farming community of Krokstorp, consisting of another three neighboring farms, is surrounded by a beautiful forest and meadow scenery, which invites to mushroom-picking and berry-picking or walks through the forest and cycle tours.
To the Baltic Sea it is only 10 minutes by car. In the surrounding you will also find many clear lakes, which invite to boating, fishing and swimming. The nearest bathing beach will be fund at the peninsula of Oknö, about 15 kilometers away, and offers alsogood opportunities for swimming. In the small port of Mönsterås, which can be reached within about 10 minutes by car, you will find shopping facilities, a medical center, chemist´s shop, post office, filling stations, banks, tourist information office and an indoor pool.
Located between the two larger towns Oskarshamn and Kalmar, the surrounding offers many beautiful destinations for excursions like the World of Astrid-Lindgren, the World of Glass in Kosta and Orrefors, which is not far away, the beautiful island of Öland with its white sandy beaches and a lot of sights. The many small, old fishing villages also invite to excursions.
But also the beautiful port of Kalmar with its old castle and many other sights and shopping facilities could really be a good destination for a daytrip. In Aboda-Klint, which is 25 kilometers away and located at a mountain, right next to a beautiful bathing lake, you can also do yourself well. You can go swimming, boating or in winter even skiing. A golf course will be found in Mönsterås.
