A Sweden idyll only 400 meters away from the lake
Here in the locality of Hallboda, about 24 kilometers north of Norrtälje, you will find this holiday home with 3 rooms and kitchen, which has been renovated in 2009.
The standard is simple with a wood-burning oven, running hot and cold water, fridge, freezer compartment as well as microwave. There is a cooker with two hotplates with a small oven, in case you don´t want to „start" the wood-burning oven. In the living area you will find a TV with Swedish basic programmes. The outside seating corner is covered and offers a cosy place to stay for the planned barbecue evening with the dears. In the house there is a WC with washbasin. The shower and wash house will be found in the near neighboring building and will be shared with the occupiers of two other houses at this farmstead.
The holiday home is located here in an old village with forest and fields around. Your landlord will live not far from you and carries on agriculture with sheep, which the small guests like to caress.
400 meters away from the house you will find the waterfront of a cove/bay of the Björköfjärden where you can go fishing free of charge. When required, the landlord will make you available a simple fishing tackle. Boats of different sizes can also be rented here. The same distance you will have to overcome to reach a beautiful place for bathing with footbridge and barbecue area. And people who like to visit the sauna can do so for a little fee.
As a day trip a boat tour from Grisslehamn (45 km away) to Åland or the visit of Engströms studio and museum can be recommended. In Arholma you will find an interesting chapel and Stockholm with its Vasa museum and all the other things is also within reach.
