The forests around Simlångsdalen belong to those areas of Sweden, where you will find the most elks.
And here you will also find this log cabin which was built in 2000, together with a second hut, at a large natural property and only 300 meters away from the nearest lake.
A small stream is passing along the property, so that you will also find a brown trout now and then.
Next to the property there are 4 lakes, making it possible to fish for pike, perch, salmon trout, bream and eel. Boats or canoes can be rented in the surrounding.
The holiday home consists of a living room, a modern kitchen, a bathroom as well as two bedrooms and offers enough room for up to 6 persons to have a cosy accomodation.

Infos about the region Halland

You will find Halland at the coast of Kattegat with Halmstad as county seat. Halland has a dramatic history of war between Sweden and Denmark and has historically changed nationality several times. This dark period was marked by great destruction and poverty. After the Peace of Roskilde in 1658 Halland became swedish and the peace lead the region to start flourishing again.
Halland's early history was marked by the Vikings and there are many relics left to behold such as graves, grave liners and stone cists. Halland is known for its beautiful scenery, with coastal, sandy beaches, forests and lakes. Even the famous salmon and sea trout rivers Viskan, Ätran, Nissan and Lagan flow through the rolling landscape of Halland.
There are many activities to engage in in the province. Visit Roxette's hometown of Halmstad, one of the many famous golf courses, open-air events in cities and on beaches, cheap shopping at GeKås in Ullared and lots of swimming and fishing opportunities.
Welcome to the Halland and sandy beaches, culture and relaxation!
