At a horse farm not far from the lake Skundern

you will find this cosy holiday home in the Södermann region in South Sweden.
"Lilla Mälby" is surrounded by paddocks, fields and the beautiful lake Skundern. The nearest locality, which is worth mentioning, Malmköping, is five kilometers away and there you will find the most necessary service facilities.
Your domicile consists of a living room with TV and tiled stove, a spacious kitchen with dining place, a smaller room with an open room slution as well as a bathroom with shower and toilet. The upper floor has a sloping ceiling and includes two bedrooms, one of them with double bed, the other one with single bed, mostly suited for children. Two convertible sofas are included which means that there are up to seven places to sleep, thus giving six holiday-makers the chance to spend their holidays in Sweden together.
The accomodation will be completed by a lovely outside corner seating unit with barbecue area and a long-reaching view of the surrounding fields and meadows.
The surrounding offers a lot of tourist attractions like the "Sagostigen" for the little ones, the castle of Gripsholm, the zoo "Parken Zoo" in Eskilstuna or the museum for military vehicles in Malmköping.
If all this sounds like strenuous, then you can use a warm summer day in order to go to one of the many places for bathing in this region and refreshing in the cool water.

Infos about the region Södermanland

The province borders in the south to Östergötland, in the west to Närke, in the northwest to Västmanland, in the northeast to Uppland and in the east and southeast to the Baltic Sea.
The capital Stockholm is situated partly in Södermanland. The second part is located in Uppland. Traditionally, the line between the two provinces is drawn in the water between the old town and the district of Södermalm in central Stockholm.
Södermanland, popularly known as Sörmland, refers to the land south of the lake Mälaren. Like Uppland in the north, the province has numerous ancient remains (nearly 100,000) and a large population that approximately amounts to 1.1 million people.
The province is dominated by lowland and wooded hills, and of the many lakes. So it is a typical flat landscape; Södermanland is nowhere more than 200 meters above sea level.
The characteristic landscape type is formed by a combination of faults that mainly go in the direction from the east to the west, and large river valleys. Through these faults the land sunk from the south to the north, so that the crack along the fault on the north side was lowered, while the south remained.
Södermanland is also the center of the Swedish nobility with a variety of mansions.
Just as Södermanland, Uppland has a fantastic archipelago, both the part called the Stockholm Archipelago (east of Södermanland's Södertörn peninsula) and the one outside the coast of Södermanland.
Södermanland welcomes you to discover a province full of opportunities!
