Description

The charming holiday house looking out over the lake Lidsjön in scenic Södermanland is located only 16 km from Nyköping. It is a beautiful environment, forest, lake and green lawns.

From the corner, it is 100 meters to the small family beach and jetty. There is also the opportunity to borrow a rowing boat and to fish with a fishing license if you wish. Is your luck good you can grill the fish on the patio next to the house. If you are interested in golf can also practice on a golf course (9 hole) next to the house.

You can also choose to go in to Nyköping is a beautiful old city of culture for a good bite to eat at the harbor. The road leads to Skavsta Airport in 15 minutes and in a northerly direction, Stockholm is about 1hr 30 and in a southerly direction Linkoping 1h 30. About 300 meters from the house is the way 53 municipal bus service.

The area is child-friendly and quiet, why are rented out only th families with children and the older people. Youth groups are not allowed.

Infos about the region Södermanland

The province borders in the south to Östergötland, in the west to Närke, in the northwest to Västmanland, in the northeast to Uppland and in the east and southeast to the Baltic Sea.
The capital Stockholm is situated partly in Södermanland. The second part is located in Uppland. Traditionally, the line between the two provinces is drawn in the water between the old town and the district of Södermalm in central Stockholm.
Södermanland, popularly known as Sörmland, refers to the land south of the lake Mälaren. Like Uppland in the north, the province has numerous ancient remains (nearly 100,000) and a large population that approximately amounts to 1.1 million people.
The province is dominated by lowland and wooded hills, and of the many lakes. So it is a typical flat landscape; Södermanland is nowhere more than 200 meters above sea level.
The characteristic landscape type is formed by a combination of faults that mainly go in the direction from the east to the west, and large river valleys. Through these faults the land sunk from the south to the north, so that the crack along the fault on the north side was lowered, while the south remained.
Södermanland is also the center of the Swedish nobility with a variety of mansions.
Just as Södermanland, Uppland has a fantastic archipelago, both the part called the Stockholm Archipelago (east of Södermanland's Södertörn peninsula) and the one outside the coast of Södermanland.
