Group house by Mörrumsån with sauna, boat, canoe, billiards, table tennis, ...
Welcome to this facility with unique, cozy and exciting solutions and with many activity opportunities in beautiful nature.
The holiday house has a fantastic location just 100 m from Mörrumsån and the old stone bridge, where part of the film "The Emigrants" was filmed.
The whole house is newly renovated in 2018 and early 2019 and you will be greeted by a very comfortable and fresh environment. The living room is very large and there is room for many. The kitchen is a combination of outside and inside in such a way that it is extended into a large glazed conservatory. The kitchen equipment is good and here it is convenient to run the buffet variant, ie you cook the food in the kitchen, place the cooked on the table and then everyone goes and picks up their portion, whether you sit indoors at the table, or outdoors when summer is most glorious.
There are 12 bedrooms, all with very comfortable beds. Two of the rooms share a bathroom with toilet and shower, the other rooms all have their own toilet and shower in the room.
This holiday home has a sauna, dressing room with toilet and shower, Russian bath, table tennis, billiards, football games, rowing boat, canoe, large rustic barbecue area with logs as benches and space for an open fire. There are plenty of evening activities for the whole group. In the basement there is a washer and dryer.
About 70 meters away is one of Småland's most beautiful bridges, Blidingsholmsbron. The whole area here has always been popular and an important settlement with ancestry where you can follow history back all the way to the Stone Age. If you like fishing, there is an opportunity for this as the cottage's owner also owns a 2 km long private stretch of the upper part of Mörrumsån. The fishing is top class and is conducted as a "catch and release".
If you want to spend time together with activities, 1 rowing boat and 1 canoe are included. You can rent canoes, boats and fishing licenses, regular bike, mountain bike or e-bike.
There are many interesting excursion destinations in the immediate area that can be visited by canoe, bicycle or car. The area is known for its apple orchards and vegetables. Åsnens National Park is nearby and invites to unique nature experiences.
The group accommodation Eriks Gård is rented out weekly in high season during July and August with Saturday as the changeover day.
There is a small playground for toddlers. Unfortunately, youth groups cannot be booked at this facility.

Infos about the region Småland
No other historical province of Sweden is probably as well known as Småland. This is partly because of the immense popularity of the childrens' books of Astrid Lindgren, who allowed many of her stories to take place there, where she grew up herself. Småland has more to offer though than the idyll of Katthult
While the vast majority of the stories in Lönneberga or the children of Noisy Village are known, few know about the highly interesting history of this historic province. This once consisted of many small areas (in Swedish: små land). They had the right on own legal systems and assemblies. This evolved into the areas differences and quirks that are still characteristic for the region: The historical Småland is now divided into five provinces Jönköping län, Kalmar län Kronoberg, Halland and Östergötlands län. Småland is located in the southern part of Sweden, extending from the Baltic coast to the northwest by the Vättern lake. It borders to the historic provinces of Skåne and Blekinge in the south and to Östergötland, Västergötland and Halland in the north west. As different as the regions is the nature of Småland: Extensive coniferous forests interspersed with large swamps, and again there are many smaller and larger lakes. Just as we know it from the film adaptations of the childrens' books of Astrid Lindgren. Småland is not only famous as the scene of Astrid Lindgren's stories, which can be admired at the amusement park "Astrid Lindgren's World" in Vimmerby. Småland is also known for its glass factories. In the Kingdom of Crystal (Swedish: Glasriket) around the city of Växjö you can visit the glass blowers craft in 14 active glass blowing workshops, and exhibitions of glass art invite you to admire the crafts. Other cities well worth a visit are for example Jönköping and Oskarshamn. So visit the varied Småland and you enter into the idyllic scenery of the stories of Astrid Lindgren, in typically Scandinavian nature and the fascinating world of glass art!
