Dream holiday house 9 minutes from The Old Town

As close to the Stockholm city pulse as you can possibly get if you want a lovely garden too! Beautifully decorated holiday house in a typical Scandinavian style. The location is a very safe, quiet and beautiful 1920 garden city with several parks for kids to play in. There are lakes for swimming in the close by nature reserve as well as a golf course.

Enskededalen is an old and very cozy residential area close to nature and still very near the inner city. Most houses in this area were built in 1920-1926 with a lot of greenery in between. We love our charming neighborhood dearly and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

The accommodation was built as two separate properties with two entrances. The gardens are separated by a hedge. Our neighbors is a nice young family currently living abroad.

There are several restaurants (Swedish, Italian, Thai, Indian and Japanese), and two great bakeries at 2-8 minutes walking distance. It's a 5 minute walk to grocery stores and a pharmacy.
Tele 2 Arena, Ericsson Globe Arena, and also a shopping mall are 15 minutes walk/4 minutes drive away.
The nearby Nacka nature reserve is great for biking, running, full day hikes or swimming in the lakes Södebysjön and Källtorpsjön. The Unesco World Heritage memorial hill Skogskyrkogården is 0,5 km away.

Private parking on the property.

You will have access to all the rooms but not to the closets. There will be one or two chests of drawers and mobile clothes racks for you. There's room for 1-2 normal size cars inside the gate.

Inner city, south island (Södermalm): 5 minutes by car, 7 minutes by subway or 10 minutes by bike.
City Central and Old Town: 9 minutes by car, 14 minutes by subway, 20 minutes by bike.
Stockholmsmässan /Stockholm fairground: 15 minutes by car or 24 minutes by bus.

24/7 public transportation access. In Stockholm, that means a clean, safe, and great way to get around by subway, local trains, buses, and boats.
The green line subway stations Sandsborg or Kärrtorp are only a 5 or 6 minutes walk from the house.
The night bus from inner city stops a block away.

Infos about the region Stockholm

Our beautiful capital city, also known as the "Venice of the North", is the country's and Scandinavia’s largest city. The inner city has about 850,000 inhabitants and the entire greater Stockholm area more than 2 million. It attracts visitors from all over the world, the number is around 1 million annually.
Stockholm is not a province but is located in Uppland as well as in Södermanland. Since the 17th century the border between Södermanland and Uppland is located in the middle of the water between the districts of Södermalm and the Old Town.
The city is built on water and consists of 14 islands, which are interconnected with bridges. These are located on islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea.
Stockholm has a 750-year history and offers a rich cultural life and a variety of attractions. You can get around by bus, subway or boat. But walking will actually also get you far!
If you want to experience a fantastic view over the city, we recommend a visit to the town hall, where you can climb up into its tower.
The heart of the city is the Old Town with its extremely well-preserved medieval town center. The Old Town is also where you will find the Royal Castle and the Cathedral.
On the green island of Djurgĺrden some of Stockholm's most popular attractions can be found. Visit the world famous warship Vasa, the world's oldest open air museum Skansen, or Astrid Lindgren's amusement park Junibacken as well as Gröna Lund's tivoli. Do not miss to see Stockholm from the water. And should 14 islands not be enough, visit the amazing archipelago with 30,000 islands, islets and reefs.
Welcome to Sweden's capital Stockholm!
