Private island in the best area of The Stockholm Archipelago
Well set and secluded Island with several great locations for scenic views and wonderful sunrises as well as sunsets.
When you get off the boat at the dock solid and large wooden deck, it's like landing in a completely own private oasis, a wonderful free zone that is difficult to find found in the archipelago with such speed out of town. Only 30 minutes drive from Slussen in central Stockholm to Siggesta and marina. From Siggesta it by boat about 10-15 mint to the island. There are also car and boatplace in Stensvik on Ljusterö in the municipality of Österåker. The road can be closer if you come from north. From Stensvik Ljusterö, only about 5-10 min by boat.
Topography of the island is really nice and the southwest to the northwest is built. Main building at an angle and three outbuildings and a garden shed. This part of the island has the highest elevation levels with nice rocks and formations for both views and baths. Main building is magnificent and understated between rock formations and the view in all directions.
The island has so many nice places to choose depending on what you feel about the days and depending on the weather. Is always nice basking areas, sheltered locations and so on. If you want to observe sea life, from fine birds to boats and even seals that come up with its nose in the water, then there are several viewing points, plateaus, ledges or decking to choose. Maybe just bask in the sun on the sunbeds down at the front of the island with wooden deck, or wooden deck at the cottage's small promontory with incredible view, or perhaps on the wooden deck of the connection to the main building. If you want to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner is also where the possibility of similar places to enjoy a lovely meal on.
The middle part of the island has a large open grassy area perfect for festive occasions or ball and play. In connection with the built-up area has several nice stone circles, walls, steps and walkways, etc. Behind the main building there are plum trees, apple trees, red and black currants, etc. Otherwise there are mushrooms, chanterelles and berries, etc.
The undeveloped part of the island, the island's eastern part, this is both forest with lingonberry and sometimes fungi (mushrooms in season) as well as open spaces and a nice cape there are remains of a brick grill and smoke. There is a nice view deck in the Southeast where you see Alsviks Bridge with village shop from and the view across the strait between Svartsö and Brännskär and view the Trångholmens Waxholmsbolaget Bridge.
Fine smooth rock in both the west, east and south and on the east side you can sit quietly on the rocks and watch the Waxholm boats, motor boats and sailboats on glides past in the strait between Svartsö and Brännskär. There are direct electricity with three RCD and there are fireplaces both inside and outside the main building. There is dry toilet (outhouse) and drilled well with a good supply of water but with salinisation. The water is used for showering and washing, not for drinking. Drinking water taken from the well at berth in Siggesta Värmdö mainland, or from Stockholm. There is a hand pump on the island which has water that can be used for drinking, but the safest way to boil it first.
The location of the central archipelago is the ultimate, this is close to everything, Värmdö mainland where the right by Eke boatplace at Siggesta is a nearby golf course, restaurant, horse riding and lots of fun activities for children and for adults. Close Ljusterö with good service offering and carferry with Österåker mainland. Then the large islands in the archipelago, such as Svartsö and Ingmarsö both with general store and tavern, Grinda with marine service station and restaurant and Lådna with marine service station and general store, Möja, Gällnö with Gällnöby and great hiking trails. Even Bullandö, Vaxholm and Sandhamn, Finnhamn and Stockholm city is easily accessible to fine half or full-day excursions with its own boat.for as restaurant visits Bullandö, a day in the nature with the children and so on.

Infos about the region Stockholm
Our beautiful capital city, also known as the "Venice of the North", is the country's and Scandinavia’s largest city. The inner city has about 850,000 inhabitants and the entire greater Stockholm area more than 2 million. It attracts visitors from all over the world, the number is around 1 million annually. Stockholm is not a province but is located in Uppland as well as in Södermanland. Since the 17th century the border between Södermanland and Uppland is located in the middle of the water between the districts of Södermalm and the Old Town. The city is built on water and consists of 14 islands, which are interconnected with bridges. These are located on islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Stockholm has a 750-year history and offers a rich cultural life and a variety of attractions. You can get around by bus, subway or boat. But walking will actually also get you far! If you want to experience a fantastic view over the city, we recommend a visit to the town hall, where you can climb up into its tower. The heart of the city is the Old Town with its extremely well-preserved medieval town center. The Old Town is also where you will find the Royal Castle and the Cathedral.
On the green island of Djurgĺrden some of Stockholm's most popular attractions can be found. Visit the world famous warship Vasa, the world's oldest open air museum Skansen, or Astrid Lindgren's amusement park Junibacken as well as Gröna Lund's tivoli. Do not miss to see Stockholm from the water. And should 14 islands not be enough, visit the amazing archipelago with 30,000 islands, islets and reefs. Welcome to Sweden's capital Stockholm!
