In the heart of Roslagen at the water

awaits you this beautiful holiday home titbit, built in 2009. The holiday home has a size of about 60 square meters and a bedloft under the roof of 20 square meters. The equipment is up-to-date and the furnishing tasteful and fresh.
This small skerry paradise consists of a combined living room with kitchen corner and dining place, three bedrooms, one of them is the bedloft. All this will be completed by a bathroom with shower and toilet.
Two sides of the holiday home are directed towards the sea and they are surrounded by a very lovely terrace where the morning coffee tastes twice as good because of the view of the sea.
The island of Yxlan belongs to the northern skerries of Stockholm, which is about one hour´s drive away from here. Your house is located at a hill in the woodland area. And from there the village road is winding along to the small locality of Vagnsunda.
It is just 25 meters to reach the footbridge from where a plunge into the refreshing water makes every summer day really a day of holidays. A boat will be available and is located about 250 meters away from the holiday home. And don´t forget the wood-heated sauna which is about 5 meters away from the water.
To sum up, one can really say that a modern and beautiful holiday home will await you here in one of the most beautiful skerry areas of Sweden and most of the Swedish people would have the desire to spend themselves the summer holidays here. And if you really should intend to leave this paradise once, so you should remember the distance to Stockholm which is, as already mentioned, one hour, thus presenting as the perfect destination for a day trip.

Infos about the region Stockholm

Our beautiful capital city, also known as the "Venice of the North", is the country's and Scandinavia’s largest city. The inner city has about 850,000 inhabitants and the entire greater Stockholm area more than 2 million. It attracts visitors from all over the world, the number is around 1 million annually.
Stockholm is not a province but is located in Uppland as well as in Södermanland. Since the 17th century the border between Södermanland and Uppland is located in the middle of the water between the districts of Södermalm and the Old Town.
The city is built on water and consists of 14 islands, which are interconnected with bridges. These are located on islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea.
Stockholm has a 750-year history and offers a rich cultural life and a variety of attractions. You can get around by bus, subway or boat. But walking will actually also get you far!
If you want to experience a fantastic view over the city, we recommend a visit to the town hall, where you can climb up into its tower.
The heart of the city is the Old Town with its extremely well-preserved medieval town center. The Old Town is also where you will find the Royal Castle and the Cathedral.
On the green island of Djurgĺrden some of Stockholm's most popular attractions can be found. Visit the world famous warship Vasa, the world's oldest open air museum Skansen, or Astrid Lindgren's amusement park Junibacken as well as Gröna Lund's tivoli. Do not miss to see Stockholm from the water. And should 14 islands not be enough, visit the amazing archipelago with 30,000 islands, islets and reefs.
Welcome to Sweden's capital Stockholm!
