Holiday home located in the Västmanland region and only 50 meters away from the lake

and about 17 kilometers away from the town of Köping. Here you will find this cosy accomodation with an small place for bathing.
The house has a living space of about 70 square meters and offers enough room for up to four persons, two of the beds will be found in the guest hut at the property.
The holiday home is located in a holiday home area and is the last one towards the lake and has therefor also the shortest distance. About 100 meters away from the holiday home you will find a lovely place for bathing where the bottom of the shallow water slopes gently. In summer you will also have here in this area a small shop where you can buy the necessaries of daily life.
The living room has a lovely fireplace and is glazed towards the lake. The kitchen is fully furnished/equipped for self-catering and the bathroom has a shower and a Separett toilet with flush. The offer will be completed by the bedroom in the house as well as a guest hut with two single beds. The whole property has a fencing.
Apart from the good opportunities for swimming and fishing at the lake, an excursion to the town of Köping really could be recommended. The town offers shops, things worth seeing and activities in summer which could be a good change to the holidays at the lake, at least for a day trip.

Infos about the region Västmanland

In the interior parts of Sweden, with borders in the south to Södermanland and Närke, in the west to Värmland, in the north to Dalarna and Gästrikland and to the east to Uppland we find the province of Västmanland. The region is traditionally divided up in Bergslagen and Mälardalen.
There is evidence that Västmanland and the rest of the Mälardalen (Mälarvalley) region was populated from the west as early as after the latest ice melting. There are about 20,000 known archaeological sites to discover in the province.
In Västmanland we find six ancient cities: Västerås (founded in the year 990), Arboga (1200), Köping (1474), Sala (1624) and Lindesberg and Nora (1643), which are all worth a visit. Västerås, also called Mälarstaden (Mälar-town), is the region's largest and the country's fifth largest city with about 110,000 inhabitants.
The terrain rises from the Mälaren lake to the southeast, which has a low, deeply cut coast, where fertile plains spread. It is part of the Swedish lowlands. From the north to the south you will find ridges. In the north the land rises slowly, and the farmland decreases, which is here divided by forests and lakes. The north west is characterized by a large hilly, wooded moraine landscape, however, the plains make deep cuts along the major rivers.
Västmanland's largest lake and the country's third largest lake is called Mälaren. This is also partly located in Södermanland and Uppland and flows into the Baltic Sea. The lake is an attractive destination for fishing enthusiasts from all over Europe. There are in addition to the 33 naturally occurring fish species also planted species. The lake contains fish such as pike, perch, roach, rudd, silver bream, bream, smelt, perch, burbot, tench and bream.
Welcome to the Västmanland, a region with closeness to everything!
