A magical place for recreation and harmony!

This is the place for a deep and truly soulful recreation in close range to many of the most beautiful spots Sweden has to offer. Here you will feel at peace with both nature and yourself - still with breathtaking sightseeing and inspiring adventures nearby. Wake up to the sun that rises over the horizon and dip your toes in the warm little lake togheter with your morningcoffee. Or take a 7 km trip to the harbor at the picturesque town of Hjo and enjoy the next biggest lake in Sweden - Vättern.

The property is right by the lakeside and on the beach. The lake is warm in the summertime and you can enjoy a book in the sunchair or a swim in the somewhat shallow lake.
In the winter you can skate across the lake when the weather is cold and the lake is frozen.
You can walk up to the jogging tracks on Högaliden if you feel like taking a long walk or go for a run. You can also take a walk around the lake about 6 km. The area is surrounded by trees, meadows, summer cottages, horses and the cutest highland cattle cows strolling in the fields nearby.

There are three cottages on the premacy. The small one bedroom cottage is built 2013 and has a fully equipped bathroom with shower and a laundrymachine. The bigger room is a bedroom/kitchen with a sofa bed thats quite comfy and spacious.

The bigger cottage is older with a lot of charm and has a separate kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a four seated dinnertable. It also has direct access to the patio where you can sit and have your breakfast or dinner in the comfy built in sofa. The livingroom has a sofa and Tv in one end and at the other end is the king size bed. A newly installed bathroom is also placed between the kitchen and the livingroom area.

The third pine cottage is private for the landlord families own storage and not for rent.

October - April the landlord family close the big cottage and only offer the small one bedroom cottage (to a less price).

The easiest way to get around is by car or bicycle. You can park your car on the premacy.

The area is surrounded by cottages and we want to keep it as quiet and recreational as we can. If you are planning a partytrip this is not the place. If yoy want to enjoy breakfast by the beach, a good book, walks in the forest or the picturesque little towns nearby, or to light up the grill for dinner you have come to the right place.

Infos about the region Västergötland

In western Sweden, we find Västergötland, which is not to be confused with the Västra Götaland Län (county), since their borders differ. Västergötland is home of the famous plains of Västergötland, which consist of several separate plains. This region is very fertile and located slightly north of the province's geographical center. The northern part of the province has relatively few lakes, but the lake Hornborgasjön famous for its famous “crane dance” (mating of the birds) can be found here.
If we have a look further south, we find numerous lakes including Mjörn, Anten, Ĺsunden,Lyngen and Fegen. Try your luck at fishing!
Not to be overlooked is that also Vänern is located here, Sweden's largest lake covering an area of 5648 sq. km and has a volume of 153 km3. It lies 44 meters above sea level and is Europe's third largest. Among the world's largest lakes it’s placed on the 29th place.
Västergötland is one of the oldest cultural areas. The city of Gothenburg is located partly in Västergötland, it borders to Bohuslän at Hisingen in Gothenburg. With its around 550,000 inhabitants its Sweden's second largest city and offers a variety of activities, including Liseberg amusement park.
